<p>Mortgage interest on old home for 2018 was $ 18306</p>
<p>In 3/18 he bought a new home and took a mortgage for $ 1,280,000.</p>

I assume that the 100K does not qualify for the 199A deduction because it is personal service income, medical, and taxable income exceeds $ 315K (joint return). Or does it? Is medical lectures considered personal service income?</p>
