One thing to consider is if the taxpayer returns to their tax home on weekends, then there are limitations.<br />

If your client is taxed as an S Corp, the LLC needs to reimburse your client under an accountable plan. Then he would be able to take actual auto expenses. 									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I have a person who is self employed with a solo 401k. He also has wages, but is not covered by a retirement plan. Can he make a deductible IRA contribution even if his AGI is over the phase out limit. My premise is they are not considered covered because there is no W-2 with box 13 checked to indicate retirement plan.<br />
