As a result my client born 01-01-1961 should be eligible for the Senior Discount.  My software calculated it but it is rejected at efiling.  Have you experienced this?</p>

I have spoken with Deputy John Biello with the CT DRS and he said it is not a state problem but the software vendor.  </p>

If the parents do not claim him as a dependent, can they allocate 100% of the Health Insurance Premiums from the marketplace to him?  He would get a refund of the premiums paid.  If he cannot do this, his parents will have to pay back $17,592 of the premiums.  </p>
